The trailer can be used for club events and is also available for members to hire. To hire please contact secretarybcg@gmail.com to check availability and then make a payment via purchasing a ticket below. By purchasing a ticket you agree to the following Terms and conditions of trailer hire: The hirer must be a current AusCycling and Beechworth Chain Gang member, or parent of a current AusCycling and Beechworth Chain Gang member. The hirer must have a full drivers license (not learner or probationary driver). The fee for trailer hire is: •  $50 per day or part day. •  $80 per weekend •  $200 per eight consecutive nights The hire fee is to be paid before taking the trailer. The hirer is responsible for the trailer and the trailer is not to be passed on to others. The trailer is not to be used for commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that the trailer is securely attached to your vehicle and that you have the correct trailer light socket or converter. You must check that the lights are operating effectively before taking the trailer. The trailer must be returned on or prior to the end of the period of hire. If you are delayed in returning the trailer, then you must notify the trailer coordinator immediately and make arrangements to return the trailer to the storage area or deliver it to the next hirer. You may incur an additional hire fee amounting to the number of days (or parts thereof) for which the return of the trailer is delayed. The hirer is liable for any traffic or parking infringements or fines incurred during the period of hire. The hirer is responsible for the security of the trailer from the time that the trailer is collected until the time it is returned. If the trailer is stolen during this time, then you will be required to pay the insurance excess and any other costs associated with replacing the trailer. Excess is $1,000 for persons under 21 years of age, $750 for persons under 25 years of age but not under 21 years of age, $700 for persons over 25 years of age who has held a driver’s licence for less than two years and $150 for all other persons. If the trailer is damaged during your period of hire then you must notify the trailer coordinator as soon as possible and you will be responsible for paying the costs of repair (fair wear and tear excluded). Beechworth Chain Gang accepts no responsibility or liability for damage to your bikes or vehicle whilst you are using the trailer.

To program aims to provide riding opportunities for kids beyond JRP, supporting further skill progression, building social networks and a supportive riding culture. The program is targeted at riders in years 7 to 10, who are confident in riding blue/intermediate trails and features (or above).  Younger riders may be invited where they demonstrate sufficient skill and maturity. The program will include a combination of trail rides led by BCG club instructors, and skills sessions led by specialist instructors. Weekly sessions will be each Thursday afternoon from 4:45 to 6:15 pm and run through till the end of term 4 2026.  Due to the technical nature of the trails, participants must have a mechanically sound dual suspension trail or enduro bike, together with helmet and riding gloves at all times.  For some sessions a full-face helmet, knee and elbow protection will be required.  Auscycling membership is essential. Some sessions will require riders to be dropped at locations to enable access to trails. Whatsapp will be used for group communications, to coordinate weekly activities and meeting locations. The program will run in term 4 2026 and term 1 2027. Cost is $60 per term.  A risk acknowledgement and waiver form must be completed by parent/guardian for each participant Questions?
