IndiGo Epic Trail - Beechworth trailhead
12:00 – 16:00
Join us for the Kaitler Classic on the Indigo Epic Trail in Beechworth on Saturday May 23rd. This event is all about the social side of mountain biking, designed around a team-of-two format where partners must complete the course together. Whether you’re a regular racer, social rider or a junior looking to tackle the trails with a parent or friend, this is a low-key, fun-focused day out. It’s the perfect opportunity to experience a team-style event in a relaxed atmosphere on some of the best trails in the region.   Teams of two will need to complete the course together and remain within two minutes of each other throughout the ride. This is a similar format to some of the Epic MTB race series (https://www.epic-series.com/). The core focus of the Kaitler Classic is to create a fun and social experience for riders to share with their riding partner on the day.   Location Registration and the start and finish of both courses will be at the Indigo Epic Beechworth trailhead. Parking is available off Wallace Street. Course To cater to varying abilities, we plan to offer two course options: Long Course: A 36.5 km loop with 800 meters of climbing from Beechworth to Yackandandah returning after Homeward bound via My Little Pinky and Yack Gate Rd. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50358507  Short Course: A 19 km loop of the Beechworth Epic loop which includes 300 meters of climbing. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50358467 More detail regarding the Indigo Epic trail is available here: https://www.victoriashighcountry.com.au/ride/mountain-biking/indigo-epic-trail/    Timing Timing will be provided on the day.
